Uptown Gallery 312 is a contemporary art gallery in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood focused on making art accessible, building community, and creating opportunities for emerging artists. The gallery provides a welcoming space where creators can share authentic work and visitors can experience art centered on culture, humanity, and storytelling.

The gallery has a particular commitment to uplifting Black and Brown creators and bringing greater visibility to artists who are often overlooked. Its programming features Chicago-area visual storytellers through curated group exhibitions, thought-provoking themes, experiential gallery shows, and creative partnerships.

Uptown Gallery 312 embraces art across multiple mediums and looks beyond the traditional gallery experience. Visitors can discover original work from participating artists in person, while select pieces are also available for purchase through the gallery’s online collection. The rotating exhibition model provides opportunities to discover different artists, styles, and perspectives throughout the year.

With its focus on emerging talent, cultural storytelling, and inclusive experiences, Uptown Gallery 312 serves as both a neighborhood art destination and a platform for Chicago creators. Whether attending an exhibition, discovering a new artist, purchasing original artwork, or connecting with Chicago’s creative community, visitors can experience contemporary art in an approachable community-focused setting.
