Studio15 Chicago is an art gallery and creative event space in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood, offering art exhibitions, painting workshops, artist showcases, and opportunities for creative expression. Located on the city’s South Side, the gallery provides a welcoming environment for emerging and established artists, art enthusiasts, and community members to connect through visual arts and cultural experiences.

The gallery is home to the Van Wade art collection, honoring the creative legacy of Terence “Van Wade” Johnson, a Chicago master tailor, image consultant, and entrepreneur. Studio15 continues his vision of bringing style, art, and community together through exhibitions and creative programming.

Studio15 regularly invites artists working in a variety of mediums, including digital art, to participate in exhibitions and artist calls. Its quarterly Van Wade Artist Showcase provides opportunities for artists to display their work and connect with new audiences. The gallery has featured artists from Chicago and beyond, including international participants.

Visitors can also participate in art workshops led by licensed art teachers and art therapists. The gallery offers Friday evening paint-and-sip experiences, providing painting materials and a relaxed social atmosphere for adults interested in exploring their creativity. Private painting sessions are available for groups seeking a creative activity for celebrations or gatherings.

In addition to exhibitions and workshops, Studio15 hosts book signings, art and wellness activities, and community events. Through Studio15 Suites, the gallery also offers flexible hourly workspace rentals for artists, entrepreneurs, instructors, and other creative professionals.

Whether attending an exhibition, participating in a painting workshop, or reserving space for a creative project, Studio15 Chicago supports artistic expression and community connection on Chicago’s South Side.
