Imagine That World of Play is a children’s indoor playground and family activity center in Chicago’s Mount Greenwood neighborhood. Designed to encourage imagination, creativity, movement, and discovery, the play center offers an engaging environment where children can explore, build confidence, and learn through hands-on experiences.

The indoor playground features slides, ball pits, climbing structures, obstacle courses, and dedicated play areas for younger children. Kids can enjoy active play, explore different activities, and interact with other children in a space designed to support physical, social, and creative development.

Beyond open play, Imagine That World of Play offers educational classes that combine learning with fun. Its enrichment programs introduce children to science, technology, engineering, art, cooking, and language through interactive activities. Classes include hands-on engineering challenges, international cooking experiences, STEM experiments, and introductory Spanish lessons.

The center also hosts children’s birthday parties, offering packages that combine playground access with food, decorations, and opportunities to celebrate with friends and family. Families looking for a children’s birthday party venue in Chicago can choose from customizable celebration options.

Imagine That World of Play welcomes daycare centers and preschool groups for organized field trips. These visits give young children opportunities to explore interactive play areas, participate in group activities, and enjoy experiences outside the classroom.

Additional programming includes seasonal STEAM camps, school-break activities, and special events designed for children and families.

Whether planning a birthday celebration, organizing a preschool field trip, enrolling a child in an enrichment class, or simply looking for indoor activities on Chicago’s Southwest Side, Imagine That World of Play offers a variety of opportunities for children to play, learn, and discover.
