Advanced Endodontics of Chicago is a specialty dental practice providing root canal treatment and advanced endodontic care at three Chicago locations. Founded in 2010 by Dr. Milton L. Davenport III, the practice focuses on diagnosing and treating problems involving the inner tissues of teeth, relieving dental pain, and helping patients preserve their natural teeth.

The practice offers root canal therapy for teeth affected by infection, inflammation, or damage. Its endodontists use specialized techniques and diagnostic imaging to evaluate dental concerns and develop treatment recommendations. Root canal treatment can help patients retain teeth that might otherwise require extraction.

Additional services include endodontic retreatment for teeth that have previously undergone root canal therapy, endodontic microsurgery, and evaluation of cracked teeth. Endodontic microsurgery, also known as an apicoectomy, may be recommended when conventional treatment cannot adequately address a problem near the root of a tooth.

Advanced Endodontics of Chicago incorporates advanced imaging technology into patient evaluations, including cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). Three-dimensional imaging helps its specialists examine tooth roots and surrounding structures when planning treatment.

Patient comfort and communication are central to the practice’s approach. Its team emphasizes compassionate care, clear explanations, and coordination with referring dentists. Patients may schedule an initial consultation or, when appropriate, an appointment that includes consultation and treatment on the same day.

The practice also works closely with general dentists who refer patients for specialized endodontic procedures, providing consultation and treatment reports to support ongoing dental care.

With offices in downtown Chicago, Wicker Park, and the city’s Far North Side, Advanced Endodontics of Chicago provides specialized dental treatment for patients seeking relief from tooth pain and solutions for preserving their natural teeth.
