Healthy Teeth Beautiful Smile is a pediatric dental and orthodontic practice serving children and families in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood and surrounding South Side communities. Led by Dr. Loretta A. Smith, DDS, MS, the practice provides dental care for infants, children, teenagers, and patients with special needs in a welcoming, child-friendly environment.

The practice offers comprehensive pediatric dentistry, including routine dental examinations, cavity prevention, dental sealants, fillings, tooth extractions, bonding, and treatment for gum disease. Dr. Smith emphasizes preventive care, helping children develop healthy brushing and flossing habits while teaching parents how to support their children’s oral health at home.

Orthodontic services are also available for children and adolescents. These include early orthodontic evaluations, Phase 1 and Phase 2 treatment, retainers, orthodontic appliances, and clear aligners. The practice focuses on identifying alignment and bite concerns during childhood and developing treatment plans appropriate for each patient’s needs.

Healthy Teeth Beautiful Smile takes an interactive approach to children’s dental visits. Young patients receive oral hygiene bags, recognition for completing restorative treatments, and rewards for maintaining regular dental appointments. Its Recall Hall of Fame and patient loyalty program encourage consistent dental care and positive oral health habits.

For children who experience dental anxiety, the team emphasizes gentle communication, reassurance, and individualized attention. Dr. Smith works to make early dental experiences comfortable while helping children understand the importance of caring for their teeth.

The practice also offers same-day pediatric dental care when available, extended office hours on select days, and multiple insurance and financing options.

With an emphasis on prevention, education, and positive patient experiences, Healthy Teeth Beautiful Smile helps Chicago families establish healthy dental habits from early childhood through adolescence.
