Momentum Coffee is a Black-owned, family-operated coffee shop and café in Chicago, serving specialty coffee, espresso drinks, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and lunch options. Founded in 2020 by Nikki Bravo and Tracy Powell, Momentum Coffee combines quality food and beverages with a mission to strengthen communities through economic opportunity, entrepreneurship, and neighborhood investment.

With locations in the South Loop, downtown Chicago near Millennium Park, and Austin, Momentum Coffee provides welcoming spaces for customers to enjoy freshly prepared food, meet with friends, or take a break during the workday.

The café’s beverage menu features signature coffee blends, including its medium-roast Kinetic coffee, along with cold brew, cappuccinos, lattes, caramel macchiatos, mochas, chai, matcha, and specialty teas. Customers can also purchase whole-bean coffee to enjoy at home.

Breakfast options include croissant sandwiches with bacon, chicken sausage, or spinach and feta, while lunch selections feature sandwiches, melts, and combination meals. Its Build Momentum Food Incubator, developed in partnership with BUILD Chicago, helps emerging food entrepreneurs access mentorship, business development resources, and opportunities to bring their products to market.
