Auburn Animal Hospital is a Black-owned veterinary hospital serving dogs and cats on Chicago’s South Side. The hospital has served the community for decades. Owner and Managing Director Dr. Sheila Carpenter leads its veterinary team.

Auburn provides routine and preventive veterinary care. Services include annual exams, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, bloodwork, and digital X-rays. The team also provides dental care and soft tissue surgery.

Pets with joint and mobility problems can receive additional treatment. Auburn offers K-Laser therapy and same-day stem cell therapy. Stem cell treatment can address conditions such as osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, joint disease, and soft tissue injuries.
